DR. Dana Ly

Dr. Dana Ly received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry Texas A& M University System in 2002.

Over the years, Dr. Ly has had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and she always makes an effort to make every patient feel comfortable and give each person the attention he or she deserves. She feels truly blessed to work and make a difference in so many people’s lives.

Dr. Ly is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy of GP Orthodontics, Dallas Asian Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Ly is married with two children and regularly participates in continuing education courses to provide the most, up to date, dental care for her patients.

Dr. Alon Shalev

Dr. Alon Shalev is a periodontist surgeon and is committed to quality patient care, always keeping the patient’s best interest. Dr. Shalev earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2005. In 2010, Dr. Shalev earned his Master of Health Management from the Ben-Gurion University and then went on to earn his periodontics certificate specialty training at the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota in 2019 along which he earned a Master of Science in Dentistry. Later, Dr. Shalev had his Oral Surgery fellowship in a hospital setting focusing in wisdom teeth removal and oral pathology. Dr. Shalev found his passion for dentistry by watching his dad who is also a dentist. He ran multiple offices mainly focusing on esthetic and implant dentistry, as well as he was Head of Dental Affairs in a hospital in Israel treating very complex cases. Dr. Shalev loves that dentistry is a combination of science and art that brings the passion of both worlds. Dr. Shalev is mainly interested in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and micro-surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and published multiple papers in major manuscripts in his field. In his free time, Dr. Shalev enjoys traveling with his family, wife and two kids and exploring new places, sports and fine cuisine. He also enjoys volunteering by providing dental care to veterans suffering from PTSD. Dr. Shalev lectures and teaches continuing education courses.

DR. MAi-An Pham

Mai-An Pham DDS has been providing quality and compassionate dental care in the DFW area for over ten years. Dr. Pham received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry Texas A& M University System in 2005. She married her high school sweetheart soon after and now has 3 energetic children that keep her busy when she is out of the office. Being a mother herself, Dr. Pham true passion is treating and caring for children and their oral health. Dr. Pham's gentle nature quickly puts her patients at ease. She enjoys getting to know all her patients and is looking forward to meeting you soon.

Elida

Office Manager

Elida has had 10 years in the dental field. She has been our Office Manager for 5 years and wants our patients to know that she is committed to dentistry because she truly enjoys what she does.  You can always count on Elida with having a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Her objective is to provide the best dental experience for each patient who walks into 1st Smile Dental.  

Elida has 3 young children that she absolutely adores.  Away from the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her children at the parks and movie theaters.

Marielena

Marielena, who prefers to go by Mari for short, joined 1st Smile in 2019 as a registered dental assistant. Mari also has prior experience as a front office receptionist with Dr. Dana Ly for 5 years. Having experience of both aspects in a dental office has enhanced her ability to understand and tend to her patients more effectively. She also assists in assuring the office runs smoothly on a daily basis. She enjoys bringing comfort to our patients and is dedicated in promoting dental health awareness.
